Please read these Terms of Service (“Terms”) carefully before using SymptomDx (“we”, “us”, “our”, or “the Service”). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
- Use of the Service
SymptomDx is a clinical documentation support tool designed to assist licensed healthcare professionals with symptom checklists and structured medical note generation.
By using SymptomDx, you confirm that you:- Are a licensed healthcare provider or a medical trainee under supervision.
- Will not use the platform to diagnose, treat, or manage any condition in the absence of clinical judgment.
- Are solely responsible for all clinical decisions made using or alongside SymptomDx.
- No Medical Advice
SymptomDx does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. The content is intended for informational and documentation support purposes only. It is not a substitute for professional judgment or institutional protocols.
Always seek the advice of your supervising physician, medical director, or regulatory authority with any questions regarding a medical condition or protocol. - No Data Storage or Collection
SymptomDx does not collect or store any personal, identifying, or health information. All inputs remain on your local device unless you manually copy or export them.
You are responsible for complying with any applicable privacy or data protection laws in your jurisdiction, including—but not limited to—PIPEDA, HIPAA, or PHIPA, if you choose to copy data into other systems. - Intellectual Property
All content, interface designs, and software code in SymptomDx are the intellectual property of SymptomDx. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or reverse-engineer any part of the Service without written permission.
- Modifications to the Service
We may update, modify, or discontinue the Service at any time without notice. We are not liable for any loss or disruption caused by changes to the Service.
- Limitation of Liability
SymptomDx is provided “as is” and “as available.” We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding the accuracy, reliability, or availability of the Service.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim liability for any damages, including but not limited to indirect or consequential damages, arising from your use of or reliance on the Service. - Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless SymptomDx, its owners, affiliates, and employees from any claim or liability arising from:
- Your use or misuse of the Service
- Any breach of these Terms
- Any clinical decisions or outcomes based on content from SymptomDx
- Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts located in Ontario.
